How Payouts Work
A straightforward guide for affiliates: how you earn commissions, when the money lands in your account, how recurring payments work, and where to track everything in real time.
How you earn
Every affiliate has a unique link. When someone buys through it, the sale is tied to you and a commission is created automatically.
- The commission is a percentage of the sale, set by the program owner (either a program-wide rate or a rate specific to you).
- You can check your rate anytime in your dashboard, on the Commissions page.
- It applies to both the first purchase and every renewal of the subscription (see Recurring commissions).
When you get paid
As soon as a sale happens, the commission is created as pending. It becomes available for payout following Stripe's release schedule — the same window in which the sale funds actually become available. This depends on the payment method the customer used:
| Payment method | Approximate release window |
|---|---|
| Credit card | ~30 days (Stripe's default in Brazil for new accounts) |
| PIX | ~2 days |
| Boleto | ~3 days |
When the window closes, the payout is made automatically — you don't need to request anything. In your dashboard, under Payouts, each pending commission shows its expected date, so you know exactly when it lands.
Automatic payouts via Stripe Connect
stryhub uses Stripe Connect to pay affiliates. That means the money goes straight to your own Stripe account — the one you connected when you joined the program.
- You connect your Stripe (Express) account once, in your affiliate dashboard.
- When a commission is due, stryhub transfers the amount to your Stripe account automatically.
- The money becomes available in your Stripe account and you withdraw it to your registered bank account via your own Stripe dashboard.
Recurring commissions
If the customer you referred has a subscription, you earn a commission on every renewal, for as long as the subscription stays active.
- Each time the subscription invoice is paid (monthly, yearly, etc.), a new commission is created for you.
- Each of these follows the same flow: it's created, waits for the Stripe window, and is paid automatically on the right date.
- If the customer cancels or the subscription goes unpaid, future commissions for it stop — you earn while the customer keeps paying.
Stripe Connect fee
Stripe charges a small monthly fee (equivalent to US$ 2) to maintain the Express account that receives your payouts. This fee is deducted once per month, from your first payout of the month.
- Charged at most once each month, not per commission.
- In your transfer history, when it applies, the amount is shown itemized (e.g. "R$ 10.73 — R$ 23.73 commission − R$ 13.00 Connect fee"), so you understand exactly what landed.
Where to track everything
Your entire financial picture lives in the stryhub affiliate dashboard:
| Page | What it shows |
|---|---|
| Dashboard (home) | Total received, earnings for the period, active referrals and your recurring revenue. |
| Commissions | Every commission generated, with amount, rate, status and the net amount you receive. |
| Payouts | Total received, upcoming amounts with each one's expected date, balance released on Stripe, and the full transfer history. |
The displayed amounts are faithful to what actually lands in your account: "received" already reflects the net (Connect fee deducted when applicable), and reversed amounts (rare refund cases) are not counted as received.
FAQ
Do I need to request a payout?
No. With your Stripe account connected, payouts are automatic on each commission's expected date. You just need to keep your Stripe account active with correct bank details.
Why hasn't an amount landed yet?
It's likely still within Stripe's release window (e.g. ~30 days for card). On the Payouts page, each upcoming amount shows its expected date. Once the window closes, the payout is made automatically.
What happens on renewals?
Each paid renewal generates a new commission, on the cycle date. As long as the customer keeps paying, you keep earning — always on the correct dates, with no delays.
What if the customer asks for a refund?
If a sale is fully refunded, the matching commission is reversed (it isn't owed, since the sale didn't hold). This is rare and recorded transparently in your dashboard.
How do I withdraw the money?
The money is transferred to your Stripe account. Withdrawal to your bank account happens through your own Stripe dashboard, according to your account's payout settings.
