Docs How Payouts Work

How Payouts Work

A straightforward guide for affiliates: how you earn commissions, when the money lands in your account, how recurring payments work, and where to track everything in real time.

In one sentence: you refer customers, stryhub calculates your commission on each sale and pays it automatically into your Stripe Connect account, following Stripe's own release dates — and every time the subscription renews, a new commission is generated on the right date.

How you earn

Every affiliate has a unique link. When someone buys through it, the sale is tied to you and a commission is created automatically.

You earn on the sale amount. Stripe fees and the platform fee are absorbed by the seller — your commission is calculated on the full subscription value.

When you get paid

As soon as a sale happens, the commission is created as pending. It becomes available for payout following Stripe's release schedule — the same window in which the sale funds actually become available. This depends on the payment method the customer used:

Payment methodApproximate release window
Credit card~30 days (Stripe's default in Brazil for new accounts)
PIX~2 days
Boleto~3 days

When the window closes, the payout is made automatically — you don't need to request anything. In your dashboard, under Payouts, each pending commission shows its expected date, so you know exactly when it lands.

Each commission has its own date. Amounts don't all land at once: each sale follows its own release window. Recurring subscriptions generate a new payout every cycle, always on the matching date.

Automatic payouts via Stripe Connect

stryhub uses Stripe Connect to pay affiliates. That means the money goes straight to your own Stripe account — the one you connected when you joined the program.

  1. You connect your Stripe (Express) account once, in your affiliate dashboard.
  2. When a commission is due, stryhub transfers the amount to your Stripe account automatically.
  3. The money becomes available in your Stripe account and you withdraw it to your registered bank account via your own Stripe dashboard.
Direct and traceable. Every payout shows up in your stryhub dashboard (under Payouts → Transfer history) and in your Stripe account. You have visibility on both sides.

Recurring commissions

If the customer you referred has a subscription, you earn a commission on every renewal, for as long as the subscription stays active.

Truly recurring income. Refer once, earn every cycle. That's what makes referring subscriptions so rewarding: the same customer generates a commission month after month, always on the correct dates.

Stripe Connect fee

Stripe charges a small monthly fee (equivalent to US$ 2) to maintain the Express account that receives your payouts. This fee is deducted once per month, from your first payout of the month.

Where to track everything

Your entire financial picture lives in the stryhub affiliate dashboard:

PageWhat it shows
Dashboard (home)Total received, earnings for the period, active referrals and your recurring revenue.
CommissionsEvery commission generated, with amount, rate, status and the net amount you receive.
PayoutsTotal received, upcoming amounts with each one's expected date, balance released on Stripe, and the full transfer history.

The displayed amounts are faithful to what actually lands in your account: "received" already reflects the net (Connect fee deducted when applicable), and reversed amounts (rare refund cases) are not counted as received.

FAQ

Do I need to request a payout?

No. With your Stripe account connected, payouts are automatic on each commission's expected date. You just need to keep your Stripe account active with correct bank details.

Why hasn't an amount landed yet?

It's likely still within Stripe's release window (e.g. ~30 days for card). On the Payouts page, each upcoming amount shows its expected date. Once the window closes, the payout is made automatically.

What happens on renewals?

Each paid renewal generates a new commission, on the cycle date. As long as the customer keeps paying, you keep earning — always on the correct dates, with no delays.

What if the customer asks for a refund?

If a sale is fully refunded, the matching commission is reversed (it isn't owed, since the sale didn't hold). This is rare and recorded transparently in your dashboard.

How do I withdraw the money?

The money is transferred to your Stripe account. Withdrawal to your bank account happens through your own Stripe dashboard, according to your account's payout settings.
